STIL was founded in 2013 as an independent lifestyle store in Forest Row, at the edge of the Ashdown Forest -  a destination for those who value beauty, calm, and considered design.

From the beginning, the intention was simple: to create a peaceful, welcoming space where clothing, beauty, and objects for the home are curated with care. STIL is a place to discover pieces you won’t see everywhere - whether you are building a thoughtful wardrobe, enhancing your living space, or choosing a meaningful gift.

Our edit brings together designers, artisans, and labels that share our commitment to sustainability, exceptional quality, and longevity. We believe in buying less, choosing well, and living with pieces that endure.

For over ten years, we have also held quarterly pre-owned sales, offering our customers the opportunity to recycle beautiful clothing and extend its life. These much-loved events allow a wider community to access the same considered design at a more accessible price point - an approach we are proud to champion.

After 13 years of listening, learning, and evolving alongside our customers, STIL has become a truly distinctive shopping destination - one that offers something quietly different in the South East. Our loyal clients return not just for the product, but for the experience: personal, unhurried, and guided by taste.

We offer a complimentary personal shopping service, available outside of normal opening hours by appointment. Whether you prefer an in-store consultation or would like advice on an online purchase, we are always happy to guide you.
