Crafted from 100% Scottish-spun lambswool and featuring a 70s- psychedelic tie-dye pattern, Mila is an effortless and unique crew neck. Botanical dyes by Hazel Stark have been used – Hazel is a RCA graduate who has set up her Natural Dye House in the garden of her home in Hampstead, hand-dyeing textiles using foraged botanical dyes. The beautiful colours are made with cultivated and wild dye plants. Each knit is totally unique in its pattern. We just love this over skinnies or tucked into straight cropped denim. And it has to be white or navy sneakers in the cooler months and a sandal come Spring.
-Sizing and care: -True to size, the model is 5'11" and is wearing a size M
-100% geelong wool
-Due to the hand-dyed process, Mila must be carefully looked after. A cold hand wash separately is a must, using a wool or delicates laundry detergent and gentle conditioner. Dry flat and out of direct sunlight. Never dry clean.
-Tie dye: At first there may be some colour rub off, so be careful not to wear it with anything light or precious. If you can hand wash it before wearing do so, as some dye may remain from the tie-dyeing process and will run off. Don’t be alarmed, once washed the first few times this will stop and will stabilise. Use rubber gloves for the first couple of washes – Please store your jumper in a drawer or wardrobe after wearing out of sunlight to avoid any fading – Please never dry clean as this will ruin the colours – With care the colour will last for decades, gradually getting a little paler over time but will remain the same beautiful natural shades – Made by the traditional knitting process of fully fashioning, each piece of the garment is knit separately and then linked together by hand and hand-finished
