Cire Trudon's Les Belles Matieres collection has a new addition - Ourika.
With a clientele that included Louis XIV and indeed Napoleon, Cire Trudon is the most highly respected candlemaker in the world, and the oldest in the industry. Ourika is based around iris - grown in fertile valleys and gardens over centuries. The iris was symbolic in Egyptian Mythology, relating to Horus, the falcon god, who brought the sky and earth together. The ultimate in candle gifting.
Poured in France into a vessel hand crafted in Italy, Ourika is take you to the eponymous sun-drenched valley of the same name at the base of the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco.
